Tail Blazers, "Health Food Store For Pets", is a store where pet guardians can find only wholesome, healthy food and treats, a wide variety of supplements, accessories, knowledgeable staff and lots more!

The brands of raw, canned and dry foods carried at Tail Blazers locations are all researched and approved based on the company, their manufacturing practices and their ingredients, ensuring that they are made with honesty, integrity and composed of human grade ingredients, and contain NO harmful preservatives, rendered meats, fillers, sugars, dyes, additives or meat-by-products.

Rebecca Marsh and Marybeth Chan - Co-Owners

We are sisters who grew up in an animal loving home and learned respect for the lives of animals at a young age. From an early age we both chased down anything furry and with four legs to play with and cuddle. We’ve always looked for an outlet for our passion for working with and helping animals including volunteering with shelters, fostering and fund raising. We always wanted to do more but didn’t know what or how. It was then that the health scare of our family dog Pumpkin opened our eyes to the poor nutritional emphasis in pet’s lives. We were introduced to Tamara and Brent’s Tail Blazers, studied more about nutrition and never looked back. Now, our passion is to continue learning and pass on our knowledge and enthusiasm of nutrition for pets to our customers and friends through day to day contact and information sessions.

Pumpkin My name is Pumpkin and I am a Husky/Australian Cattle dog cross. I was rescued from the SPCA at 12 weeks old. I became the inspiration for Tail Blazers 14th Street thanks to my many health problems which are now better. I like to entertain customers by stealing treats and hiding them in my private back room. My hobbies are herding, going for walks, stealing treats, rolling in snow banks and goose poop, charming everyone I blink at and enjoying all the good food at Tail Blazers.		Joey I’m Joey and I am a Chesapeake Retriever/ Golden Lab cross (my Mommies call me a Ches-a-speake Retriever because I like to talk a lot!) I was rescued from the SPCA at 3 years old. If you have been at the store you know I like to yell loudly “PET ME PET ME PET ME” when customers enter the store. (I am really not vicious just complicated!) My hobbies are cuddling, enjoying bison ribs, belly rubs, and swimming, swimming, and MORE swimming. I too enjoy all the good food at Tail Blazers.

Tail Blazers is proud to say that none of the foods we carry were part of the massive food recall in 2007. We feel that pets give us so much - in return we want them to have the best lives they possibly can!
